Gary Warren is an English former child actor best remembered for playing Peter in the 1970 film The Railway Children.
Warren was born in the London borough of Cricklewood. In addition to his film roles, he starred as Cedric Collingford (“Owl Face”) in series 2 of the 1971 TV series Catweazle and as the major 20th-century contact of Catweazle and Taplow (the troublesome pupil) in Whacko.
He also had his own TV show, Alexander the Greatest, in which he played Alexander (1971). He played Mame’s nephew in the West End production of Mame, starring Ginger Rogers.
In the 1972 BBC series The Shadow of the Tower, Gary played Lambert Simnel.
