Lisa and David Killebrew raised their children, Miles Killebrew, a Pittsburgh Steelers football safety, and his sister, in Henderson, Nevada.
Despite living in Nevada, the Killebrew family is avid fans of the Indianapolis Colts, whom they found while in Indiana. Lisa and David, both enthusiastic football fans, are delighted to watch their son, Miles, pursue a professional career. Miles Killebrew’s football career began when he moved from soccer to football at a young age. Initially, he played soccer too aggressively, earning red cards and being ejected from games.
However, once he moved to football, his enthusiasm intensified. He went on to play college football at Southern Utah before being selected by the Detroit Lions in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. His physical talent has undoubtedly brought pride and happiness to his football-crazy family.
Who Are Lisa and David Killebrew? Miles Killebrew Parents
Miles Killebrew was born on May 10, 1993, in Henderson, Nevada, to Lisa and David Killebrew. His parents, although having no football expertise, were huge sports fans. His father, David Killebrew, was an Olympic trialist in cycling. In addition, Miles’ sister, Kailani, ran track at Baker University in Kansas.
When Miles first tried his hand at sports, soccer seemed like the logical choice. However, it quickly became evident that soccer was not a good fit for him. Notably, Miles’ mother, Lisa, was instrumental in recognizing his football ability.
Despite not coming from a traditional football household, Lisa was convinced from a young age that Miles intended to play football. Miles subsequently switched to football, which proved to be a great fit for him.
Despite the Killebrews’ lack of football experience, David Killebrew took on the role of coaching a young team, while Lisa became the team mom. Their encouragement and participation were crucial to Miles Killebrew’s football career.
Miles Killebrew Sister Kailani Killebrew
Miles’ sister, Kailani Killebrew, is currently a part-time Retail Store Manager at Anthropologie in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition to her job at Anthropologie, she has been working part-time for Zebra Technologies as an NFL player tracker since July 2020.
Kailani formerly worked full-time as an Amazon Content and Marketing Specialist at G Creative Advertising and Design from October 2020 to January 2021. Kailani Killebrew earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Business from Baker University in May of 2018.
She excelled academically at Baker University, earning a degree in International Business and proficiency in French. Kailani actively participated in university life, including extracurricular activities such as Women’s Track & Field. She was also a member of Mungano, a multicultural student-run organization.
As part of her educational background. Kailani and Miles have a close relationship, and while she is less active on other social media platforms, she is active on X, where she tweets about her life, fiancée, and brother.
