She grew up in Massachusetts and studied at Boston University and The New School.

Ellen began her career in the media and entertainment industry, where her exceptional work graced the pages of prestigious publications like Forbes, Rolling Stone, and Newsweek. 

Later, she became an editor at Crime Online, focusing on crime reporting.
 
Further, she co-produced a compelling HBO documentary and appeared in various documentaries and podcasts exploring true crime.

She loved exploring different cities like Boston, Los Angeles, London, and Geneva, but Brooklyn was her main home.

Ellen enjoyed learning about music, books, movies, and unique places before many others did. Ellen’s deep love for animals was evident in her affection for her two rescued cats, whom she adored.

She is survived by her devoted parents, her sister, and brother-in-law, her brother and sister-in-law, as well as her cherished nephews and nieces.

A memorial service to celebrate Ellen’s life took place on Friday, April 8, 2022, at the Hathaway Community Home in Somerset, MA.

In honor of Ellen’s memory, contributions can be made to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, reflecting her compassionate nature.

Ellen’s spirit and the remarkable experiences she embraced will forever be an inspiration for those who knew her.

The surgical site healed well. But unfortunately, she encountered complications from a bad reaction to oxycodone, a pain medication.

Despite this obstacle, she showed resilience and recovered. She promptly updated her YouTube channel just one week after the surgery.

Her determination and transparency were evident as she navigated these health challenges.

Ellen’s brother disclosed that it had been a year since Ellen suffered a brain injury. This is what tragically claimed her life merely two days later.

The details surrounding this brain injury remain undisclosed, leaving us with a sense of mystery and unanswered questions.
