However, as he approached the age of 17, Angad Bedi’s interests expanded beyond the cricket field. His passion for acting took center stage, leading him to a life beyond the cricket pitch. Fashion designer JJ Valaya offered him his first break in modelling, opening the doors to a world he had only dreamt of.

His journey into acting began when TV anchor Sashi Kumar approached him for the lead role in the film “Kaya Taran” (2004). That marked the start of Angad’s acting career, and he hasn’t looked back since.

Angad Bedi’s career in entertainment continued to flourish. He made his Bollywood debut with the film “F.A.L.T.U” (2011) and later gained recognition for his negative role in “Pink” (2016), alongside the legendary Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu.

Additionally, he played the role of Arvind Vashishth in the Indian-American web TV series “Inside Edge,” which revolved around a fictional T20 cricket team called the Mumbai Mavericks.

Angad Bedi’s personal life has also been a source of interest. He crossed paths with Neha Dhupia at the ‘China House’ lounge in Mumbai, where an instant connection was sparked. Neha’s parents had given their blessing to their marriage, but it was Neha who took her time before saying yes. Their love story culminated in a beautiful wedding ceremony on May 10, 2018.
