Recently featured on So You Think You Can Dance Canada, Janick Arseneau is one of the hopefuls set to appear on the program. She co-founded the Montreal ballet education center Bee-Yond Believe. Dance 100’s season premiere will stream on Netflix on March 17 at 3:01 a.m. EDT.

Dance 100, the newest unscripted dance reality program on Netflix, will feature a range of dancers and choreographers fighting for a grand prize of $100,000 by performing and choreographing productions with big groups of skilled dancers.

Janick Arseneau, a competitor in Dance 100, began performing at the age of three.

Janick Arseneau, one of the eight contestants slated to compete in Dance 100, previously performed on season 3 of So You Think You Can Dance Canada in 2010. The fourth-place finisher won $5,000.

She began performing at the age of three when she began official training and continued until she was 18 years old.

According to Arseneau’s website, ballet has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember and has helped her through difficult times.

As stated on her website:

“I have always desired to be an accomplished performer. When I was younger, becoming a member of So You Think You Can Dance Canada was one of my greatest aspirations. “Being from a small community, I felt my chances of success were slim.”

Janick was aware that she needed to make “major steps” and she never lost sight of her goals. After graduating from high school, she moved to Montreal, leaving behind her friends and family to pursue a career as a professional performer.

Both The Michael Jackson: The Experience computer game and Michael Jackson’s The Immortal Tour with Cirque du Soleil were directed by NappyTabs.

She previously appeared in Julia Roberts’ Mirror Mirror and Make Your Move 3D as a performer. Janick later appeared on Season 7 of America’s Best Dance Crew and was one of the Steps Up 5: All In performers.

Nevertheless, her profile states:

“I now reside in Los Angeles and have accomplished my greatest goal so far. As my debut performance in the United States, I am collaborating with Jennifer Lopez in her three-year engagement at the Axis theater in Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas.”

She has played alongside CeeLo Green, Def Leppard, Melissa Etheridge, Kelly Clarkson, and Marie-Mai, among others.

The Dance 100 contestant performed with Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson at the MTV Movie Awards, Hailee Steinfeld at the RDMAs, and Rihanna at the VMAs.

According to her biography:

“Even though I have accomplished many of my goals, my ambitions do not end there. As a performer and a person, I believe there is always more to learn and achieve, and one should never settle. If you can conceive anything, it can become a reality.”

She will now be a part of Netflix’s Dance 100, which will premiere on the streaming service on March 17 at 3:01 a.m. ET.
