She began playing soccer with a boys’ squad when she was six years old, having been born and raised with two sisters. She was playing for Sheffield United’s girls’ squad with her twin sister, Laura, by the age of 13. On July 23, 2011, she made her senior debut with Doncaster Belles.
England later played for Chelsea in the 2016-17 season before loaning out to Liverpool in the 2017-18 season. Nonetheless, Spurs provided England with what they desired: a chance to play and score.
Her remarkable performance for the Spurs earned her a spot on the women’s national team for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2023. When she received the call from Wiegman confirming her inclusion in the 23-man World Cup team, England’s joy knew no bounds.
