Christiane Schmidtmer was a well-known German actress who was born on December 24, 1939. She was born in Mannheim, Germany. And was the best actress of her time. She was recognized as a phenomenal actress who had starred in several popular films and tv series. She initiated her acting career in the year 1963 when she was just 24 years old and she had been active in acting till the year 1981.

But unfortunately, this amazing star died in the year 2003 when she was 63 years old. There is still a lot more to know about this versatile star, hence we have gathered a bunch of interesting facts that you may find fascinating about her.

Christiane Schmidtmer was married to a guy whose name isis Michel Thomas who was a polyglot linguist and decorated war veteran. 

3. Her Death

Christiane Schmidtmer was a little bit unhealthy in her last years. Her health started to fail and spontaneously she was found dead while sleeping on March 13, 2003. She died in Heidelberg, Germany, from natural causes. 

4. Qualifications

Christiane Schmidtmer was a very well-educated actress who was sent to St Giles School to learn English. Afterward, she attended St Giles School to learn English. Then she attended Hölderlin- Gymnasium (academic high school) from which she graduated during the late 1950s.

She has starred in many popular films including The Big Doll House (1971), The Specialist (1975), Scream, Pretty Peggy (1973), and many others.

She was best known due to her acting in Ship of Fools (1965), and as one of the three airline stewardesses in Boeing, Boeing (1965). [2] 

7. Last Movie

She has starred in many films and done a great job while starring in those films but the last movie she filmed was  Hot Bubblegum – Lemon Popsicle 3  in the year 1981.

8. Retirement Plans

In the year 1981 after shooting her last movie, she announced publicly that she is leaving the acting field and getting retired from acting.
